Le borse: il più grande amore di ogni donna

Che le borse siano una vera e propria ossessione, lo sappiamo molto bene. Abbiamo sempre bisogno di una borsa nuova, non ci bastano mai e siamo disposte a spendere cifre davvero significative.

Ma cosa rappresenta per noi donne la borsa? Cosa si innesca nel nostro cervello fino a convincerci che abbiamo bisogno di una borsa costosissima? Una domanda che si pongono tutti, soprattutto gli uomini, ma non solo…

Oltre a mostrare la nostra personalità ed esprimere il nostro gusto, la borsa che scegliamo rappresenta un vero e proprio status symbol. È per questo che spesso sentiamo dire che non ci sia “un investimento più sicuro e duraturo come quello destinato all’acquisto di una borsa!” Ma perché?

Una borsa nuova ci dà sicurezza, ci rende felici ed appagate perché una borsa è per sempre! Ammettiamolo… tutte noi sogniamo di invecchiare insieme alle nostre costossissime borse e al nostro diamante più prezioso!

Spesso mi sento dire: “Cosa te ne fai di tutte queste borse? Ma stai comprando ancora un’altra borsa? Non ne hai già abbastanza?”. Rassegnatevi… La risposta è no, non ne ho abbastanza e mai ne avrò abbastanza e so che è così anche per tutte voi che leggete il mio blog.

Eppure non è così difficile capire che le borse non ci bastano mai e abbiamo bisogno di comprarne sempre di nuove, bellissime e griffatissime.

Potrete pensare che siamo insicure e che abbiamo bisogno di portare al braccio una borsa che non passi inosservata per sentirci più adeguate nelle sfide quotidiane, ma non è affatto così.

Indossare una borsa stupenda ci fa sentire ancora più sicure di quello che già siamo ed è la storia delle borse a dimostrarcelo. Nell’antichità le borse erano portate dalla servitù, a volte trasportate dagli animali e indicavano uno status sociale inferiore. Il vero cambiamento ci fu dopo la Prima Guerra Mondiale, con l’emancipazione crescente delle donne, per le quali portare una borsa era segno di indipendenza. Le donne avevano i propri contanti e conti bancari, le chiavi delle loro proprietà e delle loro auto e volevano che il mondo le riconoscesse. Quale migliore motivo per indossare una borsa, piuttosto che mettere tutte queste cose in tasche nascoste sotto delle gonne voluminose? Poi le borse cominciarono ad essere riempite pian piano da contenitori di sigarette, accendini e soprattutto dal make up… rossetti, ciprie in polvere, un vero arsenale quotidiano, fino ad arrivare ai giorni nostri in cui le nostre borse assomigliano proprio a quella di Mary Poppins, strapiene di qualunque cosa pensiamo possa esserci utile per qualunque evenienza.

E allora non sentiamoci in colpa… Iniziamo piuttosto a preparare una lista dei desideri di Natale molto dettagliata e puntuale nella quale non mancheremo di inserire la richiesta di una borsa nuova e voi tutti che fate finta di non capire le nostre esigenze arrendetevi all’evidenza!

Bags: the greatest love of every woman

Bags are a real obsession, we know it very well. We always need a new one, they are never enough and we are really available to spend a lot of money for them.

But what does the bag mean for women? What triggers our brain to convince us that we need a very expensive bag? A question which faces everyone, especially men, but not only...

In addition to showing our personality and expressing our taste, the bag we choose represents a real status symbol. This is why we often hear that there is not "a more secure and lasting investment like the one for buying a bag!" But what’s the reason?

A new bag gives us security, makes us happy and satisfied because a bag is forever! Let's face it... we all dream of growing old together with our very expensive bags and our most precious diamond!

People often ask me "What do you do with all these bags? Are you buying another bag? Do not you have enough bags?". Give up... The answer is no, it’s not enough for me and it will be never enough for me and I know it's the same for all of you who are reading my blog.

Yet it is not so difficult to understand that bags are never enough for us and we always need to buy new, beautiful and designer ones.

You may think that we feel insecure and that we need to bring a bag that does not go unnoticed in order to feel more adequate in daily challenges, but it is not at all like that.

Wearing a beautiful bag makes us feel even safer than what we already are and it is showed by the history of the bags. In ancient times bags were brought by the servants, sometimes transported by the animals representing  a lower social status. The real change came after the First World War, with the growing emancipation of women, for whom carrying a bag was a sign of independence. Women had their own cash and bank accounts, the keys to their property and their cars, and wanted the world recognize them. What better reason to wear a bag than to put all these things in pockets hidden under voluminous skirts? Then the bags began to be filled slowly by containers of cigarettes, lighters and above all by make-up ... lipsticks, powders, a real daily arsenal, up to the present day when our bags are like the one of Mary Poppins , overflowing with whatever we think may be useful for any eventuality.

So do not let us feel guilty... Let's start rather to prepare a very detailed and defined Christmas wishes-list in which we will not fail to include the request for a new bag. So, give up the evidence all you pretending to don’t understand our needs!
